Geologic, geochemical, hydrologic data more than 100 wells collected March 2015 November 2017 were interpreted using a summative-scale analysis to define extent anthropogenic (human-made) Cr(VI) groundwater. The summative scale consisted eight questions requiring binary (yes or no) answers for each sampled well. intended (1) provide transparent framework interpretation which all stakeholders participated; (2) unbiased traceable numerical measurements; (3) that enabled geologic, be considered collectively; (4) consolidate different types into simple, easy-to-understand interpretation. متن کاملCarcinogenicity of hexavalent chromium.
Hexavalent chromium (Cr(VI)), a commonly used industrial metal, is a well known human lung carcinogen. Epidemiology and animal studies suggest that the particulate Cr(VI) compounds, specifically the water insoluble compounds, are the more potent carcinogens; however, the carcinogenic mechanism remains unknown. Here we summarize recent Cr(VI)-induced human tumour, in vivo, cell culture and in vi...

متن کاملHexavalent Chromium the Threat to the Environment and Human Health
One of the actual global problems is an issue of waste, its formation, disposal and possible secondary processing. Another closely related issue concerns hazardous waste which represents a potential threat to environment and human health. This paper is focused on an area of waste containing hexavalent chromium arising especially from leather industry. Hexavalent chromium is classified as a carc...

During this time, the kidney of ‘C’ remained in cold ischemia until the plane that landed in Granada came back to Barcelona and was transplanted in ‘E’ with 5 h and 15 min of cold ischemia. At 7:30 PM, the transplant was completed and the chain was closed (Fig. 1). The donors of both ho...
